Zenande Gexu is a passionate business owner and entrepreneur committed to social change and empowering women and broader society. Born in East London, she has consistently gone beyond expectations, building her journey on resilience and leading by example.
In 2013, she completed her Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Bedfordshire in the United Kingdom. She began her professional career with one of South Africa’s leading logistics companies, where she spearheaded youth-focused employment projects and initiatives. It was here that she recognised the urgent need to drive meaningful change, particularly around employment and youth empowerment.
Driven by determination, Zenande furthered her studies in Cyprus, completing an MBA and becoming the first in her generational bloodline to achieve this qualification. This experience strengthened her expertise in policies, processes, and organisational development.
Today, Zenande serves as the Head of Corporate Engagements at Kasi Konversations, where she advocates for township youth and works to build strategic partnerships with corporates. In this role, she ensures that corporate South Africa plays an active part in addressing unemployment, inequality, and economic barriers, amplifying voices that often go unheard.
Zenande continues to dedicate herself to creating opportunities for marginalised communities, using her platform to influence change and build a better future for the next generation.
